The first week of March in ISHU was full of sunlight, laughter and excitement.
Our annual English Theatre is always the highlight of the English week. This year it was not only at school, but also online! It was a new experience for us all and it was undoubtedly a huge success!
On March 3rd, our younger students (pre-school, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades) performed their plays and surprised everyone with their brilliant acting!
On March 5th, the 4th and 5th grades presented to our attention a variety of genres: a comedy, a musical and even science fiction. We saw aliens dancing, sang our favourite songs from “The Lion King” and even explored a secondary school student’s brain with the 5th graders.
We would like to thank our talented students, creative teachers and our students’ parents whose support and love made this day so warm and enjoyable!

В Санкт-Петербургской международной школе учащиеся младших классов узнали о том, что игра на музыкальных инструментах улучшает отдельные функции мозга, такие как память, внимание, вербальный интеллект, грамотность, чувствительность к звукам и речи.
О проведённых научных исследованиях и их результатах рассказали старшеклассники, занимавшиеся подготовкой материалов декады естественно-математических наук. А своеобразным доказательством влияния музицирования на интеллектуальное развитие человека стало виртуозное исполнение музыкальных произведений самими слушателями.
